Xylokastro is a seaside town of the Corinthian regional unit. It is the seat of the municipality of Xylokastro – Eurostini. The salty soil helped 83 species of plants to been developed, among which are the alpine pine, the rope, the myrtle, the wicker, the cedar, the palm tree, the almond, the bear, the cane, the cannibal, the thyme and the hafana.
