Mesologgi is a city in western Central Greece, capital of the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania and the seat of the Holy City of Mesologgi. The city which is built between the homonymous lagoon and the Klisova lagoon, is located 247 km west of Athens and approximately 37 km south of Agrinio and 34 km west of Antirrio.

According to the 2011 Census, the population of the municipality is 34.416 inhabitants, while the city has 12.785 permanent residents.

To the north part of the city passes the Highway 5 (Ionian Street). The closest airport is Aktio State Airport.
