Moschato is a southern suburb of Athens, a municipality and seat of the Moschato-Taurus Municipality of the Southern District of Athens. It is bounded on the west by Kifissos and on the east by the artificial riverbed of Ilissos, while on the south it is the Falirikos bay.

The central and largest square of Moschato is the Metamorfoseos Square where the Metamorfoseos Sotiros church is located. While the second largest square is the Iroon Polytehniou Square, located on Korai Street, opposite to the Town Hall.
