The Municipality of Fylis is a municipality in the region of Attica established by the program Kallikratis. It became a unity of the former municipalities of Fylis, Ano Liossia and Zefyri. The area of the new municipality is 109,128 sq. Km and its population is 45.965 according to the 2011 census. The municipality of Ano Liosia was established as the seat of the municipality. Fyli is situated in the southern foothills of the mountains of Parnitha, and northeast of the plain of Eleusis. Until 1840 (when it was first established) Fyli belonged to the municipality of Acharnes. The emblem of the municipality stamp is an ivy.
