Paiania (formerly Liopesi) is a suburb and city of Eastern Attica in the Mediterranean valley. It is located on the eastern outskirts of Ymittos, at an altitude of about 200 meters, 17 kilometers east of Athens and 4 kilometers southwest of Pallini.
